“Everyone Says They’re ‘Low-Maintenance’ (It’s okay, neither are we)” – Glossier

Intothegloss.com, the beauty industry insider blog founded by Emily Weiss, recently, to much social media acclaim, founded a new cosmetic company called Glossier. Those following the blog itself on social media platforms received hints of an exciting new project with vague sneak peeks. Finally, when they announced that the new project was a cosmetic line I was thrilled! Capturing the cool girl essence of those featured on Into the Gloss just got a whole lot easier. While most cosmetic lines start with lipsticks or signature tints, Glossier went back to basics and released skincare products first. Their first four products can be bought individually or in a set:
1. Balm Dotcom Soothing
2. Perfecting Skin Tint
3. Priming Moisturizer
4. Face Mist
(listed in the order shown from left to right)
As promised, the tint subtly corrects imperfections, blending into the skin rather than covering it. The soothing face mist feels cool and refreshing, the moisturizer adds a dewy fresh quality to the skin, and the balm saves the day, curing dry lips and ragged cuticles. If you are looking for heavy makeup this isn’t the line for you, but if you want something subtle to enhance your nonchalant perfectionism (oxymoron? Not if Glossier has anything to say about it) check out Glossier:
